On Endangered Species Day, May 15th, Project AWARE launched “My Ocean Challenge”– a new, exciting way to fund raise for ocean conservation and marine wildlife protection.
Protecting endangered marine species is a real challenge, but together with the dive community we can rise to it and step up the fight to secure a brighter future for the ocean and its wildlife. Through “My Ocean Challenge”, divers and ocean lovers can help protect marine species from the devastating impacts of over-exploitation and marine debris.
From running a marathon, baking cakes, or donating a birthday, “My Ocean Challenge” lets people choose how they would like to fund raise for the ocean. Their fundraising challenge supports Project AWARE’s conservation work and fuels the grassroots action and policy change necessary to ensure a clean, healthy ocean planet.
