This is something I actually heard about some time ago but didn’t want to report it until the details were actually confirmed but the deal was completed yesterday and DiveLife has now been handed over to the new owners. All current staff will still remain and original owner, Brett will still be on hand to help!
“I would just like to congratulate John Crawshaw and Anne Jpn Diving on becoming the new owners of Divelife. John and Anne have been involved in the business for some months now and yesterday we completed the sale. Both Anne and John are experienced divers and have many years in the industry in various countries over various continents. They are retaining all the staff so the knowledge base and the enthusiasm of Adam, Ryan, Katy, Phil, Colin, Dave and all the instructional team will remain. I will continue to support them and will never be far away. I hope that the many people I have met, many of whom are mainly now friends and not just customers, will continue to support John and Anne as you have myself and DiveLife in the past. I am still continuing diving myself and hope to have even more time to get in the water now. All the best guys and good luck for the future” Brett Thorpe, founder of DiveLife posted on Facebook.
I have had the pleasure of knowing the original founder, Brett Thorpe for many years and have also been a customer of DiveLife during that time and I would like to wish every success to the new owners. We would also like to wish the best of luck to Brett in whatever he moves on to next.
