Davy Jones Diving the PADI Five Star Dive Centre in Gran Canaria, has been awarded both a TripAdvisor ‘Certificate of Excellence’ and a PADI Certificate of Recognition for ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ within a space of one week.
Davy Jones Diving have been showing divers the amazing variety of marine life that can be found in the Canary Islands for over fifteen years, and at the start of last year started an important investment in new facilities, which culminated in the opening of ‘Casa Limon’, one of the most spacious and relaxing dive centres in the Canary Islands.
“What we wanted to do was make sure that the whole of the diving day is relaxed and enjoyable and bring to the Canaries the sort of space, facilities and sense of calm relaxation that is found in centres in the Caribbean and Far East” said Brian Goldthorpe, owner and Chief Instructor at Davy Jones Diving.
“Casa Limon has a large tropical fruit garden, so we have plenty of space, and you can sit either in the sun or in the shade under the fig, pomegranate or lemon trees, and relax between the dives or do your course theory in a peaceful corner with the blackbirds singing in the branches above.
Based on continued positive feedback from our customers, we were delighted that, in addition to the ‘Certificate of Excellence’ we received for 2014, TripAdvisor, the leader in holiday excursion ratings, has awarded us our second ‘Certificate of Excellence’ for 2015. This was then followed within a week by the award of a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Customer Service from PADI Europe, also based on feedback from customers who learnt to dive with us in 2014 and 2015.”
“We have always had one of the best diving spots in the Canaries right on our doorstop – the El Cabron Marine Reserve – where we see everything from seahorses and brightly coloured nudibrachs up to butterfly rays and the critically endangered angel shark” said Brian, and it is clear that both our enhanced facilities in Casa Limon and our multilingual team of professional dive instructors has been a great hit with our customers and generated this amazing level of positive feedback.
The whole of the team needs to take credit for the attention to customer needs and detail, at all stages from arranging a suitable dive plan to organising smashing dives with lots to see. With staff from around Europe we have fluent speakers in English, German, Spanish, Dutch and Italian, and with experience of the PADI, BSAC, TDI and FEDAS systems” said Brian.
