Due to the great interest among the community of divers, the Finclip Team has just relaunched the crowfunding campaign on Kickstarter to fund the production of Finclip.
What is Finclip?
While, over the years, ski bindings have become more functional, diving fins have remained very much the same. On the basis of this observation, the Italian diver Paolo Piumatti invented Finclip and DESIGNSUMISURA developed it.
Finclip is a device that has been specially designed to don the most popular models of adjustable fins with exceptional ease, without having to bend down or use your hands: the same way as you clip on your skis.
Finclip couldn’t be easier to use. Once the fin is on, just gently push down with your heel. The cursor slides upwards and the bungee cord pushes the heelpiece against your ankle. It only takes a few seconds to be ready to enter the water!
Practical also in the water
Finclip is also an optimum solution when removing fins in the water. Once opened, the heelpiece can be easily held and used to overcome the suction effect between your feet and the inside of the fin.
Speaking of which, the Finclip team went to Montegrotto Terme in the world’s deepest pool, the Y-40, to test a new clamp that makes it possible to adapt Finclip also to those types of fins that have a thicker rear edge, like the Scubapro Seawing Nova. Through this test, we had a further confirmation of the efficiency and reliability of Finclip.
