Spend an evening with Georgia Strait Alliance’s Species Protection Coordinator learning about the history of this iconic population of whales, the threats that are facing them and how we can work together to change the course of their future so that generations to come can experience the wonder and beauty of this unique community of Orcas.”

The biggest focus is on killer whales and salmon right now given the current state of both populations. Within this we will also talk about seal populations. The key message is that if we protect killer whales, we protect the strait because they are an umbrella species.
