Come join Ross Richardson for another virtual “Manitou Mysteries Shipwreck Adventure” talk on Zoom. Ross’s talk on this virtual series is about the W.C. Kimball. “In 1891, the small coastal schooner W.C. Kimball sailed out and into oblivion from a port in Lake Michigan. 127 years later, she was found to be one of the most preserved shipwrecks on the world!”
Ross is well-known published journalist, scuba diver, shipwreck hunter and the discoverer of the shipwreck “Westmoreland” after many years of research. He is the author of two novels, “The Westmoreland Search: The Treasure Shipwreck at Lake Michigan” and “Still Missing: Rethinking the D.B. Cooper Case and other Unresolved Possible Disappearances”. Ross talks about maritime history of the Great Lakes at libraries and historical societies around the Great Lakes region. He lives in Michigan, United States.
Ross’s website is dedicated to the missing persons, missing aircraft, missing maritime vessels and the unrecovered drowning victims of the Michigan Region. The Michigan Region includes the Upper and Lower Peninsulas, Islands, as well as the Great Lakes which are contiguous with Michigan’s mainland: Lake Erie, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and Lake Superior.
