About 70 kilometres from Yellowknife, Jeremy MacDonald and his dive partner Claire Mennell met Eric Brown alias “Geezer” at Hidden Lake. They arrived at the lake via a float plane, as no road exists from Yellowknife to Hidden Lake, to make their fortune “panning for gold”.
Jeremy is a career military man with the Canadian Armed Forces, a Scuba Instructor and hails originally from New Brunswick. He calls Yellowknife home for the last nine years and on his days off, dives for “garbage” to clean up the rivers near Yellowknife.
