My Father, The Captain: Jacques-Yves Cousteau, a documentary about Captain Cousteau’s legacy, is now available through the Ocean Futures Society Virtual Film Festival for a limited time on pay per view.
Jacques-Yves Cousteau, Jean-Michel Cousteau, Fabien and Celine Cousteau, the Calypso crew, and others share personal stories about Jacques Cousteau, the world-renowned filmmaker and conservationist whose television programmes showed us the beauty and fragility of our water planet, in My Father the Captain.
The film presents a never-before-seen underwater film shot in the 1940s and 1950s by Jacques Cousteau that documents the dawn of underwater exploration and what the ocean was like decades ago.
You get a companion pass to the Live Q&A on February 3rd when you buy a ticket to the film, where Jean-Michel and his special guests will discuss the film and take questions.
