Acclaimed underwater explorer Jill Heinerth shares her tips and advice on Dry Gloves.
What are Dry Gloves, exactly? Dry gloves, unlike wet gloves, have been around for a long time and are watertight. When you use a dry glove system with your drysuit, the dry glove keeps your hands dry while the thermal glove inside keeps your fingers and hands toasty.
For advanced drysuit divers, there are a variety of dry glove solutions on the market. According to Ocean Quest, they examined all of them and studied the benefits and drawbacks of each system, looking for ways to improve and alter an existing, functional model into a more effective system. It must be simple to install, dependable, not too bulky, and compatible with the existing Waterproof arm design.
