Dr. Rosales is a Professor and Researcher in the Academic Department of Fisheries Engineering at the Autonomous University of Baja California Sur (UABCS), in La Paz, BCS. In 2018 he founded the Marine Megafauna and Fisheries Research Program (MMAPE) at the UABCS and is the Academic Manager of the Whale Museum Rescue Center/UABCS. Dr. Rosales will discuss his research on humpback whales around the Revillagigedo Archipelago, a UNESCO World Heritage site located 240 miles southwest of Cabo San Lucas.
We will premier a new video about Operation Guadalupe, which is a Sea Shepherd campaign studying the beaked whales surrounding the Guadalupe Islands.
