Jill Heinerth, Canada’s underwater explorer, has received a “lifetime achievement award” for her contributions to world knowledge and science through exploration.
“I had an amazing night at the @WingsWorldquest Gala last night, including being recognized with a Lifetime Achievement award. The organization does amazing work supporting women scientists and explorers, helping to keep them in the field with unrestricted support, emergency funds and mentoring for the next generation of women explorers. I’m so proud to be a part of the Fellowship.”
