Jill Heinerth is a cave diver, underwater explorer, writer, photographer, and filmmaker from Canada. She has spent over thirty years filming, photographing, and exploring in submerged caves all over the world. She has created television shows, consulted on films, written several books, and is a popular corporate keynote speaker. Jill is the Royal Canadian Geographical Society’s first Explorer in Residence, the recipient of Canada’s prestigious Polar Medal, and a member of the International Scuba Divers Hall of Fame. Jill received the Sir Christopher Ondaatje Medal for Exploration from the RCGS and the William Beebe Award from the Explorers Club in recognition of her lifetime achievements.
