Jimmy Summers joined Explorer Ventures Fleet® in January 2023 to support fleet-wide operations with special focus on two of their Caribbean liveaboards.
Explorer Ventures Fleet®, a well-known global liveaboard company founded over 36 years ago, welcomes Jimmy Summers as operations assistant. Over the past seven years Jimmy has worked as a reservations agent in the liveaboard industry. He will apply this service-based knowledge to ensure guests traveling to Turks & Caicos Explorer II® and Caribbean Explorer II® have a smooth holiday experience.
“We’re very fortunate that Jimmy wanted to change gears by moving into operations. It takes a close-knit group of dedicated people to navigate the myriad daily challenges we face as a fleet. Jimmy hails from Augusta, Georgia and has spent six years’ diving around the Caribbean on islands such as Cuba, Grand Cayman, and Roatan. This dive travel experience adds a unique skill set to the operations department as Jimmy provide shore-based vessel support, manages crew logistics, and aides in reservation administration.
