Building on the tremendous success from the past three years, Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach Resort and Caradonna Adventures have partnered with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and the Reef Oasis Dive Club to create a special all-inclusive stay-and-dive package for Grand Bahama Island Dive Week.
From June 18 to 24, 2023, Grand Bahama Dive Week takes over the island with a five-day gathering of Bahamas Dive Ambassadors, open water-certified divers and local dive operators. This event features dive sites including the Sea Star, Pretenders and Papa Doc wrecks, the Blue Hole and the colorful coral reefs at Peterson’s Cay. An added highlight of the week is an all-day excursion to the famous Tiger Beach (weather permitting with a minimum of six passengers), known as one of the world’s most thrilling shark encounters. Dive Week also includes plenty of shoreside fun with nightly entertainment programs, a beach bonfire and dance party, the famous Smith’s Point Fish Fry, and a brewery visit to sample local beers and more.
