Sean stated that filming this was a lot of fun, and expresses gratitude to the Firefly Digital Media team for inviting him to be a part of their show. This endeavor was filmed along the Sackville River and will air on Eastlink TV in the fall. The Sackville River and its watershed encompass a large area of outstanding natural beauty within the Halifax Regional Municipality and the county of East Hants.
Sean McMullen is an explorer and free diver on a mission to discover what lurks beneath the water and clean it up. The main goal of his project is to raise awareness about ocean, lake, and river conservation. He brings everything he finds to show others that what lies beneath the surface isn’t always beautiful. McMullen, an avid diver and professional photographer, refers to himself as an ocean caretaker, documenting his discoveries on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
