In 2016, Chris sustained a spinal cord injury that left him confined to a motorized wheelchair without the use of his legs and only partial use of his arms and hands. Being an active person before his injury, Chris was eager to get out of the house. He saw an ad for Diveheart and began “Imagining the Possibilities”!
Diveheart is a nonprofit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to build confidence, independence and self-esteem in the lives of children, adults and veterans with disabilities through scuba diving, scuba therapy, and related activities.
