The Great Lakes Shipwreck Festival is an annual event that highlights scuba diving adventures, shipwrecks, maritime history and technical advances.
There hasn’t been a presentation on diving the St Clair River in 42 years of the Great Lakes Shipwreck Festival (TM). It is one of our most accessible dive sites, with wrecks dating back hundreds of years. Join us on February 24th in Livonia, Michigan USA as we welcome another newcomer to the show this year. Trevor Larson discusses “A Diver’s Guide to the St. Clair River”.
Trevor Larson, 27, of Roseville, Michigan, has been diving since the age of 11 and has spent 14 years diving the St Clair River. He achieved year rounder status in 2022 by diving the river every month of the year, day and night. His main interest in diving is underwater wildlife photography.
Explore the St Clair River’s wild, fast-moving waters, wrecks, and wildlife. We will look at the history and diving of specific wrecks in Port Huron, as well as the diving conditions and wildlife found in what could be the best diving spot in the Great Lakes.
