Well, this years Go Diving show was great! Much bigger and busier than the previous year, full of attendees, traders and speakers.
The schedules for the day were super busy with the likes of Monty Halls, Sarah Donohue and Alex Mustard talking on the main stage. Their were breath awareness activities, in water pool sessions running and equipment demonstrations.
PADI and BSAC were there in full force discussing training options and supporting divers at all stages of their careers. PADI introduced a very cool virtual reality experience in the middle of a very bold stand as you arrived in hall 1.
The marine biology zone offered an educational awareness space to find out more about ocean health, water quality and environmental challenges that we face.
It was nice to see familiar faces at the event, some personal favourites being the crew from The British Virgin Islands who not only offer exceptional diving experiences and trips but also some of the most wonderful rum.
The underwater photography exhibition 2024 was incredible. Images representing some of the most special underwater moments captured on film. Beautiful photos lined the edge of the main hall and had onlookers in awe of the skill level obvious in the photography.
‘Attendees can expect a professional, enriching and immersive experience, tailored to foster connections and expand knowledge within the global diving community.‘ Go Diving Website.
This is exactly what people got! It brought the diving community together and it allowed us all to meet with fellow staff, current and past students, friends, dive operators and much more. Dive shows are all about like minded people coming together and sharing their passions. It was a wonderful weekend.
