According to a report from The Times of Malta, a tragic incident occurred on Saturday morning at the Dwejra diving spot in Gozo, resulting in the death of a 44-year-old Swiss woman. Authorities were alerted around 10:20 am when an emergency call was received concerning the diver.
Emergency services promptly responded, bringing the diver ashore. Despite efforts to revive her, she was declared deceased at the scene. Magistrate Simone Grech has initiated an inquiry into the matter.
