In the fight against biodiversity loss and climate change, what will it take to win? And how can the law save species from extinction?
How can the law save species from extinction? As an environmental lawyer, (that’s a question close to my heart) and as a valued Ecojustice supporter, I’m sure it’s close to yours.
On May 15, 2024 4:30 PST, I’ll be hosting an hour-long virtual panel with author and journalist Sarah Cox. Her new book, Signs of Life: Fieldnotes from the Frontlines of Extinction, follows people in Canada fighting to save species before it’s too late.
We’ll be joined by Chloë Fraser, a climate storyteller committed to uplifting young environmentalists. She currently works in communications at the Pacific Salmon Foundation and facilitates climate workshops with CityHive in Vancouver, Canada.
Together with fellow Ecojustice lawyer Kegan Pepper-Smith, we’ll talk to Sarah and Chloë about the issues threatening species today and how charities such as Ecojustice can help.
The webinar will last an hour, with questions from the audience if there’s time. I hope to see you online!
