Presented by the Canadian Ocean Literacy Coalition and ELLE Gourmet, join us on Saturday May 25, for a featured Ocean Week Canada (June 1 to June 9) event – an evening of sustainability stories inspired by the taste of Canada.
Known for his weekly pop-up dinner series (and soon-to-be brick-and-mortar restaurant) that celebrates the philosophy of reconnecting with the land, we are pleased to welcome Chef Zach Keeshig of Owen Sound’s Naagan to the Canoe kitchen. Specializing in unique dishes inspired by his Ojibway culture, experienced Chef Zach Keeshig and Chef Ron McKinlay come together to deliver a one-night-only menu 54 floors above the city.
Enjoy exquisite cuisine and outstanding wines while meeting with and hearing from several speakers including Ocean Week Canada Ambassador Amanda Horn, Canada’s first water sommelier and hydration expert, Christina Li and Canadian cave diver, photographer and author, Jill Heinerth in the lead-up to World Ocean Day (June 8). Guests will also receive early access to a virtual screening of Jill’s latest, award-winning documentary, Diving Into Darkness.
Spotlighting local Canadian ingredients, join us for an evening of culinary excellence and meaningful connections to the ocean and the fresh waterways that lead there.
