A safari boat carrying 24 French tourists sank after striking coral reefs near Marsa Alam, in the southern Red Sea.
Early reports indicate that first responders successfully rescued all passengers without any injuries.
The incident occurred near the Satayeh Reef area, where the coral reefs inflicted significant damage to the vessel. Nearby boats assisted in transferring the tourists, ensuring their safety and providing necessary services. The tourists were safely transported to a marina close to Marsa Alam.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident and are currently examining the site.
