“Very excited to announce that the Oliver Mowat is now available to the public!
On June 14, 2024 an entire team boated out to the site and the mooring buoy was deployed!
Many thanks to everyone who came out Helen Cooper, Durrell Martin, Spencer Shoniker, Ian Marshall, Charlotte Pilon-McCullough, Barbara Carson, Walter Lewis, Matthew Charlesworth and Corey Phillips.
We were also fortunate to have several of the original finders of the Oliver Mowat on board including Barbara Carson & Spencer Shoniker, and Rick Neilson who was with us in spirit.
The Royal Canadian Geographical Society provided the funding and helped to make this expedition possible!
