Our beloved Humber River is under threat because of the proposed Highway 413.
The Humber River relies on green spaces north of Toronto to recharge its hundreds of tributaries with clean water and create wildlife corridors to support the wide variety of fish, birds and mammals that travel up and down the river every day.
But Highway 413 will cut straight through the Humber River’s headwaters, bringing excessive salt, road runoff and destructive sprawl to this sensitive area.
Join us in asking Federal MPs to re-designate Highway 413 for a new Impact Assessment. Proper federal oversight will ensure that the highway doesn’t damage vital natural areas or put endangered species at risk.
Your letter will be sent to your MP based on your postal code. Your MPP will be CC’ed.
