A 66-year-old British man passed away on Saturday after experiencing health issues while scuba diving near Ċirkewwa, located at the northern tip of Malta.
According to reports, the diver surfaced after feeling unwell at around 11 am on Saturday. Emergency services were immediately contacted, and he was transported by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital. Unfortunately, he was declared dead upon arrival.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident, with Magistrate Joe Mifsud overseeing the inquiry.
