A diving incident occurred near the Zenobia shipwreck on Thursday, leading to one diver showing mild signs of decompression sickness.
According to local reports, the event happened around 10:42 AM, when the diver surfaced and started to display symptoms. The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) responded promptly, sending a high-speed boat from the Port and Marine Police to assist.
The diver was taken aboard the rescue vessel and then transported to Larnaca General Hospital for medical assessment and treatment.
