On July 21, 2024, seasoned environmentalist Paul Watson was detained in Greenland and was reportedly facing deportation to Japan due to his claimed anti-whaling actions in the Antarctic years prior.
Paul believed he wouldn’t return home if he were deported to Japan. His attorney claims that the presumption of guilt in Japan accounts for 99 percent of convictions, raising fears that Paul might not be given a fair trial. Paul can’t wait to spend Christmas with his loved ones.
