Scuba Tours Worldwide have announced a NEW destination for their Exclusive Tours programme. In 2018 you could be joining their group trip to the Taumotu Archipelago in French Polynesia – right in the heart of the South Pacific!
“French Polynesia is one of my favourite EVER dive destinations – it is stunningly beautiful above water and the diving is spectacular. Tiputa Pass was amazing – I’ve never seen so many sharks on a single dive!” said Kimberley Bonham from their Sales Team.
Often described as ‘Galapagos on steroids’, French Polynesia offers great diversity for experienced divers – with lagoons, ocean drop-offs, high octane drifts, ‘hook in and watch’ dives, walls, channels, beautiful coral reefs and manta cleaning stations. This area is famous for ‘big stuff’ with lots of shark activity – hammerheads, tigers, grey reef, black tip, white tip, silky and oceanic white tips. Add to this the beautiful coral gardens alive with reef fish and all manner of small creatures and you have yourself a top class dive destination!
The 10 night trip, from 3rd to 13th October 2018, will be aboard MV French Polynesia Master which will cruise through the Tuamotu Archipelago from Fakarava to Rangiroa. Priced at £4,195pp which includes 10 nights accommodation in a shared standard cabin, full board, tea/coffee, juice/soft drinks and up to 30 dives with tanks/weights.
Divers can extend their holiday in the South Pacific to include a stay on an idyllic tropical island such as Bora Bora or Morea and, as this is humpback whale season, snorkelling trips are available for anyone wanting the chance to be in the water with these amazing creatures – and, let’s face it, who wouldn’t?!
