World Extreme Medicine is happy to deliver a completely unique Dive Medicine course in Florida focused on dive medicine and hyperbaric emergencies, in cooperation with Florida International University and Aquarius Reef Base, the world’s first undersea research facility.
The FIU Aquarius Undersea Habitat and Laboratory is the world’s only underwater research habitat, located off the Florida Keys in the Carpenter Basin on the Atlantic Ocean’s floor, and used for coral reef research, marine life research, and NASA astronaut training for missions onboard the International Space Station through the NASA NEEMO space analogue program.
