Brut Media debuted an episode of Operation Milagro filmed earlier this year on Sea Shepherd ships this weekend. The episode focuses on our crew’s focus and dedication as they work around the clock with the Mexican Navy to protect the Vaquita from illegal fishing, which has driven the world’s most endangered marine mammal to the brink of extinction.
Léo Hamelin, the filmmaker, boarded Sea Shepherd’s Sea Horse vessel for Brut to witness the crew’s sometimes contentious efforts to prevent illegal fishing — and give the vaquitas a chance to survive.
