For the third time, Plaza Beach and Dive Resort and the staff from Toucan Diving hosted a group of dedicated scuba divers participating in the annual “Invasion” event sponsored by Scubaboard.
According to Hagen Wegerer, more than 70 divers took part in the event, which included daily dives in all of the popular island dive spots, a specialized treasure hunt and informational programs presented by the staff.
“We are always pleased to welcome Scubaboard enthusiasts to Bonaire,” Wegerer points out. “This year, we used all five of our dive boats to provide space and comfort for our dive guests. We also used this ‘Invasion’ event to help introduce our latest dive vessel, Island Hopper.” He said that plans are already being discussed for possible follow-up events in the near future.
