The Explorers Club Great Britain and Ireland Chapter is hosting an inspiring evening with renowned conservationist and explorer Kim Frank on Friday, 31st January at 6 PM, at the exclusive Ivy Club in London. This event promises to be a unique opportunity to connect with one of the leading voices in wildlife conservation.
Kim Frank, a Fellow of both The Explorers Club and the Royal Geographical Society, is celebrated for her groundbreaking work on the “Asian Elephant from Conflict to Coexistence” project. She carried The Explorers Club Flag #71 and the prestigious Rolex Expedition Watch #1 during her efforts to protect these majestic creatures. Her upcoming Flag Expedition will trace the historic migration routes of Asian elephants, from Arunachal Pradesh to the Nepal Border, while collecting oral histories from communities living alongside these magnificent animals.
Attendees will get an exclusive glimpse into Kim’s recently completed book, The Elephant in the Hourglass, and her upcoming documentary, Where the Forest Roars, which captures her journey and the human stories tied to elephant conservation.
