Johnny Morris’ Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium (WOW) has been named the 2024 SeaTREK Operator of the Year, standing out among nearly 50 locations worldwide for its excellence, conservation efforts, and immersive guest experiences.
WOW’s Out to Sea Shark Dive lets guests ages 10 and up don a state-of-the-art SeaTREK helmet and descend into a steel enclosure, coming face-to-fin with sand tiger sharks, brown sharks, and Atlantic goliath groupers — no diving experience needed!
Since 2018, more than 18,700 participants have taken the plunge into the 180,000-gallon exhibit, experiencing the ocean without leaving the heartland. Located within a day’s drive for half the U.S. population, Wonders of Wildlife continues to make marine exploration more accessible to the Midwest. This award speaks to WOW’s exceptional team of highly trained staff members and the top-notch experience provided.
