“Dive Charter: A Day in the Life of a Dive Boat” has just begun location shooting for the second season of the web-based docu-reality show. The first seasonʼs six episode run is now available for viewing on the web at http://divecharter.tv
“Dive Charter: A Day in the Life of a Dive Boat” is a web-based docu-reality show that offers a “behind the scenes” look at the daily operations of a dive charter boat. We are attempting to introduce SCUBA diving, dive charter boats and the Pompano Beach-Ft. Lauderdale area to both divers and non-divers alike all over the country as a dive destination.
The show takes place aboard SCUBATYME III, based in Pompano Beach, FL and SEA EXPERIENCE II, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In addition to the reality content of the show, the topic of each episode includes an educational component. In the series of episodes already completed, we have followed a student getting certified, shown the craziness that occurs during lobster mini-season, participated in a lionfish hunt, gone on a day (and night) wreck dive, shown how disabled divers can participate in the sport of SCUBA diving and took a glimpse into the world of tech diving – all the while providing a look at what goes on “behind the scenes” both above and below the water. If youʼve ever wondered what goes on on a dive boat (besides diving), this is the show for you.
